My Chemistry teacher required us to purchase the 5th edition. However, my budget doesn't agree. I purchased this 3rd edition and it was the same exact copy of the newer edition but way cheaper. I purchased this 3rd edition for $5. It was the best purchase I have made on Amazon.com. This book is so great to read for beginning Chemistry students. I loved every page of it.
