I have only read the first couple of chapters and looked up a couple of references so far as I've been on a general surgery rotation this month and haven't had a lot of time/need for the book thus far. But I plan on using it a lot over the next several months as I will be doing several ortho rotations. So stay tuned...I did not want to spend the money on the newest edition and now I regret buying this one after comparing it to versions 3 and 4 from the hospital where I work. already edition 3 was much better as the content is presented in a much more appealing way than that of this edition. Editions 3 and 4 have multimedia DVDs, but the latest edition is even better as its multimedia DVD gives you more options so you can study each condition much more easily. This was a good book, but I ordered forgetting that I already had the new version, so I ended up returning as I didn't need two books that were practically the same.Recommend, Price is the best, $3This book is without a doubt the best practical day to day book on incorporating orthopaedics in your practice. I have reviewed many and this is by far the best. The section on pediatrics alone makes this book worth owning. Precise, accurate and fun to read. Sections on anatomy and procedures are a plus, too. This is a must for any family practice clinic. If you're looking for one ortho book. Get this one!Very good: enough information for general practitioner. Easy to read and understand.Great book!Perfect
